slightly cracked

I bought a dozen eggs last week, all of which were fine when I bought them. I used two in various things, and decided to hardboil the others just now. One was stuck to the carton and cracked, and two others exploded in the process of boiling.

At the risk of making a completely ludicrous statement, I am not impressed with the structural integrity of these eggs.

I often have eggs explode during hard-boiling, if I don't let them warm up to room temperature before putting them in the boiling water.
