Today would have been a day to own a car. Or rent one, even. It would have saved me standing around waiting for buses on a damn cold day, and it would also have kept me from getting hit on on the way home by yet another good ol' (older) Southern boy (construction worker, from Oklahoma, who gave me his phone number after I declined to have coffee with him). Sigh. I've got to figure out how to make my invisible "hello, I'm single" sign say "single, 30 and didn't fall off the turnip truck yesterday".
