I think I'm getting the same kind of cold the kittens had. I sneeze a lot.
On Saturday I took my sister's recipe for Undiluted Hedonism, aka chocolate truffles, spiked it with cayenne pepper, and took it to a party. I didn't come home with any leftovers, so they must've been good. I had Hillary put the cayenne in because I'm so sensitive to hot things that what most people consider mild, I consider at least medium. I also think I should have used something other than Ghirardelli chocolate, because ye gods, is that stuff sweet! I rolled the truffles in cocoa at the end, which they needed, because otherwise I think they would have been too sweet. Next year I think I'll see about dipping strawberries in cayenne-flavored chocolate.
Yesterday must have been Insecure Kitten Day, since I spent most of yesterday on the sofa with at least one kitten draped over my legs. They're awfully cute when they get comfortable, because they stretch out and occupy more space than you'd think possible.
There really isn't a whole heck of a lot going on in my life. There's more going on in my head than there is in my life, and I really should sit down and clear some space in my head soon.
