I hope I'm being paranoid...

I'm beginning to suspect I'm being toyed with, and I wish the universe would kindly cut it out.

I am now in possession of my new lenses, but the disinfectant I use to clean them (of which I'm almost out) is no longer in stores anywhere. I've been to three different places today looking for it, and no dice. Apparently the plant that makes it had a sterilization failure or an equipment upgrade, depending on which source you believe, and the disinfectant won't be available until April, June or July, or never, depending on which source you believe. So I called my eye doctor's office, and they said "Oh, it's just called something different now, but it's still around." Obviously they haven't tried to buy any lately.

I bought some emergency backup stuff, and I hope it works. Now what did I do with my lens cases?

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. What exactly do they claim is "still around?" I've been using Renu instead, which I don't think works as well (but this may be completely subjective.) So what did you buy?

They claim "Clear Care" is the same stuff, but I can't find it anywhere.

I bought some OptiFree, and I hope it works.
