reshuffling
Mar. 28th, 2006 10:32 amI am so tempted to do something tremendously impolitic that I may have to type it out in Word and then delete it, just to get it out of my system. I really shouldn't tell off people I'm trying to reschedule things for and playing politics with, but ye gods, do I want to.
Last night, as promised, my old refrigerator departed. So now I have a temporary, half-height refrigerator sitting in my living room with the milk and freezer stuff in it, and a big gaping hole in my kitchen. My microwave, which lives on top of the fridge when I have a fridge where it belongs, is blocking most of the hallway between the living room and the bedroom. Oh, and my living room rug is folded in half all over everywhere, because the tray under the old fridge leaked a very large puddle all over the wall-to-wall carpet, so the carpet was wet-vac'ed last night and is drying, and I can't put the rug down again until the carpet is dry.
Theoretically, when I get home tonight, the new permanent fridge will be in the kitchen where it belongs, and the temporary fridge will be back in the basement, and my living room won't look like a complete disaster any more. We shall see, though.
My trombone lesson last night went better than the last three put together. Hooray!
Still tired.
