If this wasn't the week it is, I would have stayed home today. As it is, the SOP meeting next week is a disaster. I got 5 of the 8 packets to the copier yesterday, and was going to get the others out today, except one of them has problems we can't spare the time to fix. If we send it back to the department, it won't go on this month's docket and the whole agenda will fall apart because everybody else on the agenda has time constraints. (This is, of course, the department that sent me stuff two days late, having sworn up and down that they were working on it, and they'd get it to me on time...and we didn't have time to read it and find out it was a disaster until this morning.)
The catering contract I got this morning for the actual SOP meeting had the wrong event date on it.
One of the SOP members moved, and didn't tell anybody. This is the one who's so uptight that she shows up half an hour early for meetings, and we FedEx documents to her home address so as to make sure she gets them (because she gets unpleasant when she doesn't get them). Somebody else in our office tried to send her something by courier yesterday, and that's how we found out she'd moved. At least I found that out before I sent anything SOP-related.

Well, the agenda has officially fallen apart, and I have to put it back together as soon as I finish asking somebody else to run the other packets over to the copier in order to get them back today. I can't go myself, because it's Wednesday, so I'm babysitting the phone.
I need a nap.
