Today is better. I spent the morning setting up the post-SOP paperwork. That way, when the Provost approves the docket, all I have to do is print all this stuff and send it downstairs to get it signed. (I hate form letters for searches, because they're three pages long and not as much formulaic as they are narrative. The elements of the narrative are all the same, but every search is different, so a three-page form letter takes me half an hour to write.)

And, (I know everybody else already said this, but I'm saying it anyway) the sun is out! Hooray!

Hey, I went shopping with my mom and sister and a friend of my mom's last night. We ended up going to a shoe warehouse similar to DSW in Burlington that had the kinds of boots and basic heels you've been looking for. Schedule willing, do you want me to see if I can find the directions and take you out there sometime soon? I know that Juliruge, who didn't manage to meet up with us till after the shoe shopping was done, still needs to go shoe shopping for the wedding in Spain. And Halleyscomet really needs to replace his Merrell sneakers now since they got soaked, muddy, and dried weirdly after last weekend's dirt episode...

It can't hurt to look, at least. I am not allowed to buy any more shoes just because they're silly, though. :)
