monetary considerations
Jun. 16th, 2006 01:14 pmReality (in the form of the budget) bit me, and the fish and chips and beer has been shelved. Sigh. Chinese food and possibly ice cream isn't really what I want, but the budget will bear that.
I also sent out a query about a 1br in Brighton for a whole $25 less than my current rent. If I really want to not be broke most of the time, I have to get my rent down to about $850, but for that I can get a studio, and I don't want the TV (or the kitchen) in the bedroom.
And it's Friday, and I have to remember to get up at a reasonable hour tomorrow morning so as not to be late for my haircut.
HUNGRY. Today has arranged itself awkwardly, and I can't do anything about lunch until 2:00ish.

Date: 2006-06-16 05:33 pm (UTC)BTW, there are quite a lot of apartments for rent right now it seems. (I've been keeping my eyes on Craigslist because Jill wants a place of her own too.) I'll let you know if I see or hear of anything reasonable. I assume at this point that you would really rather not have a roomate if you can avoid it?
