I got a fat lip from playing the trombone tonight and had to get on the bus with it. Oh well. It was a good lesson, anyway.

Wonder of wonders, when I got home, I discovered that whoever it was with the wet laundry had done something about it, so my dark laundry is currently in the dryer and my white laundry is in the wash, and I might conceivably have clean shirts for the rest of the week. I'm debating whether the washing machine is big enough to handle the comforter I still haven't washed. I think it's at least close to big enough.

I've got a couple of audio tapes I would love to make CDs out of. One in particular, because it's the one I play to calm down when I'm feeling unsettled and unhappy and don't know what to do about it. I discovered this weekend that the tape player in my stereo has taken to rewinding tapes too tight, and then getting them stuck. I really don't want my "unsettled and miserable" tape to get eaten.

Right, I forgot about that. All I need is instructions from Halleyscomet on how to make it go.

Use the fast forward on the other side of the tape for the moment till you can replace it or get it fixed. If you go download a copy of Audio X and get a stereo mini cable, I can show you how to rip your own CDs using your computer.

Wanna have dinner tonight? I'm on my own, so it would be just you and me....

Dinner sounds good. It's probably easier if we plan it by email rather than here, though; I'm about to be busy and I get alerts when I get email.

My washing machine can handle a big comforter, so you're welcome to come over and wash it at my place if it won't fit in your. Of course, our dryer is still out of commission....
