OK, I've un-double-booked myself for Friday. Which means I have tonight and Saturday to run around accomplishing things, because I'm doing laundry on Sunday, and that's going to take a while.
I really need a new battery for my ancient digital camera. (The question being, since the camera is ancient, is the battery now more expensive than the camera is worth?)
Today I've been amusing myself setting up the SOP timelines for next year. Most of them will probably go to hell in a handbasket, because that's how it goes. I think I'll see about shuffling the packets around so that the section that's always missing until the last possible minute comes at the end, instead of being section 4 and playing hell with my page numbers.
The database I keep going to meetings about is going to be a monster. I'm hoping for some kind of separation between the data we actually use a lot and the data that's just in there for the sake of long-term time-tracking studies and such. Otherwise I'm going to have to get into the database to enter the date every time I do anything, for the sake of filling in an umpteen-page checklist. There are better ways I could be spending my time.
I overslept by about 20 minutes this morning, because my right ear blocked up, and I was lying on my left side and didn't hear the radio when it came on. Oops. I suppose I should remember, the next time I go to the doctor, to mention my ear. It doesn't hurt at all, but it does get blocked up a lot. (I'm sure you needed to know that, didn't you?)
I think it's lunchtime.
