You know it's hot when you have to talk yourself into putting on a shirt in the morning, especially when you know you can get sunburned and arrested if you don't.

At some point, like in two weeks or so when I'm on vacation, I'm going to have to sit down and clear all the detritus out of my brain and figure out what the hell I want, on a fairly large scale. Right now I know something is missing, but I don't know what it is.

Right at this instant, I want a wire stripper, so I can take several feet out of the middle of the conference phone power cord. It doesn't need to be as long as it is, and I spend more time untying the knots it ties in itself than I do setting the call up in the first place. (Which reminds me, I still need to buy electrical tape.)

I think it's naptime, or at the very least time to not have to answer anybody else's phone for the rest of the day. (What do you mean, I have to be useful and coherent for the next three hours?)

Well, that would be the easy and neat solution, but I'm annoyed enough with this thing that I want to take it apart, at least a little.

You know it's really hot out when getting sunburned occurs to you as a good reason not to go shirtless before getting arrested does.

Considering the weather and the color of my generally-shirt-covered skin, I'd probably get sunburned before I got arrested anyway.
