(There's something about the Red Stripe beer commercials that I find tremendously amusing.)
I hate it when life works out such that I pay rent and bills in the same week and thereby knock my bank account back under the limit at which the bank charges service fees. Next month should be slightly better, because the Comcast bill will go down $35. Given that the electric bill I just paid was $78 (are they kidding?) and I don't own an air conditioner, I shudder to think what the next one would be if I did.
However, I got invited to set up an interview for a data-entry job (5:30-9:30 PM, M-F), so maybe there's hope for my bank account if not for my social life (or my trombone playing).
In the "simple things amuse simple minds" category, I was sitting in my apartment last night enjoying the heck out of not sweating.
It seems to be pouring rain. I'm all for that, personally.
[ETA: No longer pouring rain, and I have an interview for the data entry job at 5:30 on Tuesday. If I get the job and am religious about the money, I could maybe have the credit card paid off in six months. Now there's a scary thought.]
