Is it still Friday?

It seems that today is one of those days in which I can't get any one thing done without doing two or three other things at the same time. It's not exactly yak shaving, because it's not a direct detour. It's doing something, being interrupted, getting the interruption dealt with, going back to the original task, coming to a stopping place, doing something else, getting the next set of information for the original task and continuing with it, getting interrupted again, getting to a stopping place with the interruption, going back to the original task again, having to go to a meeting, coming back an hour later and trying to remember what you left in the middle of doing...

In short, it's one of those days when you think you've done at least eight hours' work and you look at the clock and it's only 3:30.
