Ask Dr. LJ
Nov. 17th, 2006 08:00 pmOK, all y'all, I need a short quotation.
I'm designing a piece of embroidery for a wedding present. The people involved aren't terribly religious, so anything mentioning God is out. Anything so saccharine it makes my teeth hurt is out, too, because the people involved won't like it either.
What I want to say is something like "Joy, health, love and peace be all here in this place", but I've already used that on another wedding-present embroidery, and I don't want to reuse it.
Suggestions?
