I thought I was getting better, until 4:30, at which point the fever showed up again and has wiped me right the hell out. *whimper*

I hate the idea of calling in sick the day after I've been on vacation for a week, though. (Bad timing, much?)

Maybe think of the timing as "better to be on the tail end of the illness, than just starting it on Jan. 2nd"? Me, I've spent much of vacation (the last 10 days) under the weather, and sometimes worse. I would've had to take at least one sick day had I been working, probably more.
