Nothing today has gone quite like it should have. No huge disasters, just things I have to keep fixing as they come up, because they keep coming up.

At least I'm not waking myself up coughing any more. The cough is still there, but getting better (slowly). I'm not going to Arisia because (a) I don't want to give this to anyone else, and (b) I don't want to catch anything else from anybody. I've had quite enough of being sick for at least a couple of months, thank you.

Why is it that the things I just can't get myself to spend money on aren't really all that expensive? The two that spring to mind are signing up for Zipcars and getting my passport renewed. Under $100 each, at least last time I looked, and yet I can't bring myself to do it. Silly brain.

My neck is still sore, again. Still sore from where it got worked on, and again sore because something else has locked up now.

Anybody know where I could get a kazoo these days? I haven't the foggiest idea.

Children's toy stores. The old fashioned kind that aren't running major brand toys for the most part. Magic Beans in coolidge corner comes to mind. As does the place in Brookline Village on Harvard St if its still there.

*I* have tons...we bought 1000's at auction when Mars Music Store went out of business... I'll bring some to Arisia and pass them off to whoever will see you next... or, if you'd be in the neighborhood, you could come up to Fast Track and get them yourself... or something.

What was the initial attraction of thousands of kazoos? Or did you just decide at that moment to become the Great Kazoo Claus, giving of herself wherever she went?
