dchenesI offered to go spend the weekend with my parents, but my mom says she's doing OK, so I'm staying here and my weekend plans can be reinstated.
I forgot to mention that on Tuesday night I got my hair cut. It went from almost to my waist to slightly beyond the bottom of my shoulderblades, because the bottom 8 inches were all split ends. I told the woman who cut it that it was the hair equivalent of standing in the middle of the street yelling "HELP!". I also had her layer it a little so it doesn't look quite so much like somebody took an axe to the end and just chopped it off flat. And, I got the streak redone. My head feels a lot lighter, and I keep saying "But it's *short*!" For once Hillary agrees with me when I say that.
The sun came out yesterday. It's gone again. I think I can remember three days of the 11 days of April so far that have been actually sunny. Yesterday, last Sunday, and, um...I know there was another one.
In any case, it's Friday, and I don't want to hide until it all goes away any more, so that's good.
