dchenesAll's mostly well, actually. I'm taking advantage of the fact that my boss is out sick and I'm either caught up with or ahead of my various committees, and I'm taking care of a gazillion little things that I keep putting off. I gave my landlady two weeks of possible inspection dates yesterday, and I called the music store and sorted out why my credit card wasn't going through properly just now, and my shopping list has food instead of cleaning products on it.
I'm utterly sick of not cooking. I stopped because of the whole apartment odors issue, but I've decided that my apartment has smelled like bleach and coffee and nothing else for at least two weeks now, and I don't care if the hallway still smells funny (I can't tell). Anyway it's not my fault in the first place, so I can damn well cook if I want to. So I'm going to. So there. I haven't cooked anything more interesting than pasta since New Year's, with the exception of a batch of minestrone.
I'm having a terrible time convincing myself that when I get my tax refund, I shouldn't put a little (as in $40) piece of it aside to play with instead of sending it all to the credit card bill like a good kid.
