Beads for 28-count linen are teensy. Beads for 32-count linen are REALLY teensy. And when you've got four kinds of beads, in mixed sizes, spilled all over the carpet, and you need to sort one of them out from the other three because you aren't done with that one yet, and your flashlight batteries are dead, it's a pain in the neck.

I am truly, madly, deeply tired of being freezing. I think tomorrow I'll go buy some glove liners for wearing when I'm home, so maybe I won't have cold hands all the time. (Glove liners might be thin enough for me to embroider while wearing them.) Cold feet are a given; I've been wearing heavy socks and slippers all day and the insides of the socks have yet to warm up much. The next place I live is bloody well going to have its own thermostat. BRRR, dammit.

I also seem to have fallen into the Black Hole of Calcutta mail-wise. I want my federal tax refund. And the sweater I left in CT last weekend. Bills, of course, show up like clockwork.

And the store-brand noodles I bought the other day are really awful.

And the less said about the Harvard Governing Boards, the better.

And the Chinatown Eatery doesn't exist any more.

I was very surprised to hear the Chinatown eatery had vacated, I heard that a few weeks ago. Damnit, we went there in HIGHSCHOOL!
