Ask Dr. LJ - student loans
Mar. 19th, 2007 07:25 pmIt's student loan refinancing junk mail season. I've been playing with the idea of refinancing my grad school loan at least, but I'm damned if I'll do it with any company that sends me junk snail mail at least once a week for three months (aka Nelnet) or any company that sends me a single sheet of copier paper with no company name on it that says "Call this number to refinance your loan!" (Riiiight. And how do I know your entire operation doesn't consist of a postage machine and a laser printer?).
So the question is, how does one go about finding a way to refinance a student loan that doesn't involve responding to junk mail?
