dchenesToday is, in no particular order: Tuesday, SOP day, and better than yesterday. If I'm really lucky, the SOP meeting will take half an hour and I'll be out of here by 5:00.
The question is, what do I want to do with myself tonight, post-SOP? I know what I should do, and I know what I could do, and they have very little in common.
I'm dreaming up all sorts of impossible scenarios whereby I really do get to move back to Brighton. So far the best one involves taking the last two weeks of August off, painting the place for a week, moving in the week after, and going for a longish walk on Saturday, September 1 (weather permitting) and laughing at the gridlock of moving trucks I'm not part of. (It's the 15th Commandment; if thy new apartment is in College Student Central and September 1 falls on a weekend day, thou shalt move in during the week before if at all possible. Otherwise it's a lot more trouble than it really should be.)
It's nice to be able to dream again.

Date: 2007-03-27 08:48 pm (UTC)I have no actual memory of our move-in (to a house about a mile away from B.C.). Perhaps that's because my brain is trying to protect me by blotting out the memory. :-)
[I look back in my LiveJournal.] Seems we moved in three stages starting Thu Aug 31 and ending Sat Sep 2... and the truck rental was indeed on the morning of Sep 2. But I think we had enough help that it wasn't too hellish. OTOH, I never did a writeup of it. :-)
