Apr. 24th, 2003 10:01 amThe TP situation is getting out of hand. The cats now play with any toilet paper anywhere they can get to, and our apartment looks like it's been buried in a paper snowbank.
I was insanely busy at work yesterday, which is really nothing new. What was new was the fact that I didn't mind and I enjoyed getting things done. I haven't had that happen in months. I guess I really did need a long weekend.
STILL no word from Ohio. Mutter mutter grumble snarl etc.
I'm trying to come up with an idea of what to make for dinner. I've been thinking about something fried-rice-like, but I don't know what they put in Vietnamese fried rice that I like so much. Fish sauce, maybe?
Hm. I wonder if we still have garlic oil somewhere around.
I'm really ready for it to stop being cold, damp and dark out. I'd deal with dark and damp if it was warmer. I've been objecting to the idea of having to wear socks any more since mid-March or so, which means I'm either wearing socks and being annoyed with the weather, or my feet are freezing because I refused to give in. Today is a feet-freezing day.
I seem to have a list of things to accomplish this weekend springing full-grown into my brain, so I should go write it down. Maybe some of them will even get done.
Edit: One of the things that didn't make the list, but just got done, was the ordering of a copy of "Pogo's Will Be That Was". Another rare book comes off the "really gotta own that someday" list! Whee
