OK, so here's the official notice:

I am moving from Roxbury to Brighton on Saturday, August 18. I need two or three people to help me with the furniture, of which there isn't much. I'm moving out of a first-floor apartment and into a second-floor apartment.

I have a 10' truck reserved and will be picking it up at 9 AM on the 18th. Anyone who wants to show up in Roxbury at 10 AM will be fed, and will probably be done in Brighton by 4:30 at the latest. Anybody who wants to show up in Brighton will be fed too.

On the schedule. Don't forget to ask the truck rental place for some packing blankets and a couple ratchet straps.

Do you want someone to come over before you go to get the truck to deal with cleaning or packing last minute stuff so you can make your truck pickup on time without worrying?

The current plan is to get stuff out of the apartment first and then clean it. I have to get things out of the way before I can get at the floors to vacuum them properly.

I probably won't be home with the truck before 9:30.

It would be nice, but not utterly necessary. You'd have to get out of bed sometime before the crack of dawn.

Why don't I help you on the Brighton side? I can certainly do that -- I'm in the neighborhood.

I'm still in. I was mostly thinking about the Brighton side of things, but please don't hesitate to let me know if you need more hands on the Roxbury end or even to drive you to the truck rental place. (9am-ish is a little early but not horribly so, 10 is fine, and I have nothing scheduled that day that starts before 2pm-- and I can be hours late for that if need be.)
