I got the time off for running away from home with, although it did occur to me that I'm insane. I'm coming back from an out-of-state wedding on the 18th, unpacking, repacking and leaving again on the 19th, and doing it voluntarily. Oh well.

Nothing ever works out quite the way you think it will. We tried clipping the cats' front claws last night, and it was about half successful. Three cats = six front paws, and we got three of them done. Zoe just sat there and purred while we did it, and Galileo put up with it for the duration of one foot. Bonnie wasn't having any, period. Every time we tried, she sat on her front feet. She was the one who let the vet do it without any problems at all, and she's the one who keeps getting her claws stuck in things (and people, YEOWCH). Go figure.

I'm addicted to caffeine again. Dammit. I get headaches on weekends because I don't drink coffee unless I'm at work.

If you pour the coffee on your foot every time you think of having some, I bet you'll be rid of that pesky addiction in no time. Not to mention a pair of shoes.
