feline amusements
Oct. 12th, 2007 03:00 pmMy silly cat has decided that it's all right if I go back to sleep between the time she wants me to be up and the time I want me to be up, as long as she can sit on me until it's really time to get up. This morning I woke up lying on my stomach with Lily plastered across my shoulders. I rolled over one way and she went the other way (sort of like a log-rolling contest) and I ended up on my side with her sitting on my hip, and we both went back to sleep. She knows that when I put my lenses in, it means I really am on my way out of bed, but I have yet to convince her that I don't need the end of her tail in either my eye or my lenses.
I really would love to know what she does with the ping-pong balls. There were six of them, and they all disappeared for a while, and I started numbering them as they reappeared. So far I've numbered four and I have no clue where the other two are. The numbered ones tend to keep turning up in the same two or three unreachable (by Lily, anyway) places.
