I've decided that Lily needs a window perch and a scratching post. The problem is that her current scratching post is actually the leg of the desk in the office, but her favorite window is in the living room. I'd like to buy a short cat tree, which would take care of both issues, but that means the scratching post will be in the living room and she likes to scratch up the desk while I'm messing around on the computer. I suppose I could take the computer into the living room until she figures out what the scratching post is for.

In other decisions, I have to decide what's got shrimp and tomatoes in it that I feel like eating for most of next week. I've got shrimp and tomatoes to use up, and not buying lunch for a while would probably be good. Jambalaya would require a shopping expedition, but I have to do that anyway since I have three pounds of carrots and I want to make muffins with some of them.

It's a slow day today, which is nice, because I don't have to run around trying to accomplish miracles on a Friday afternoon. I don't feel like accomplishing miracles today.

That sounds like an idea. I haven't even thought about that pumpkin since I bought it, actually. I put it on the counter and it became scenery.
