dchenesSince I moved in August, I've been slowly working on setting things up exactly the way I want them, but lack of time, energy and/or daylight have gotten in my way lately. So, since I happen not to have to go back to work until Jan 2, I've been unpacking and sorting some more.
So far:
- Sorted through all the paper in my office. I now have a bag and a half of stuff that should probably be shredded.
- Unearthed the top of my desk and filed most of the stuff that was on it.
- Filed all translation-related paper in the newly cleaned-out files, thereby emptying three boxes.
- Bought some storage drawers for the bathroom and emptied the two boxes that had been living in the middle of the way in the bathroom into the drawers.
Still wants doing:
- Figure out where to put my bicycle
- Hang pictures all over the place
- Put down the old rug in the office
Random stuff:
- Weather the *!^%*$#^% cramps that woke me up last night (at 1:45, after I took pills at 9:45; this is Not Supposed To Happen)
- Redesign the pattern for the hat embroidery (grr...I had figured it out for 5 stitches tall, and I've got 8, and even numbers are a pain to deal with in the design I have in mind)
- Go buy more cat food and hanging folders
- Go to the framing store and get the green man print framed
- Maybe buy some really cheap frames for my silly postcard collection?
