Lily would like it known that the back stairway would be fascinating if it wasn't (a) scary and (b) cold out there. I opened the back door to take the laundry down to the dryer, and Lily followed me out. I said something to the effect of "oh, so NOW you want to go places?", and opened the door again, and she looked at me with the Enormous Scared Anime-Type Eyeballs she's so good at and shot right back into the kitchen. Good cat.

I would like it known that it's cold out, and I went hiking down to Coolidge Corner today anyway. Tomorrow is going to be cold too, and I have to go hiking down to the Super 88, because I ran myself out of soy sauce in the pursuit of ten-minute soup for dinner. (Ten-minute soup: chicken broth-in-a-box, with soy sauce and garlic and Chinese noodles and whatever all else I happen to have around. Today I had spinach.)

I should really stop buying hard cider, because I drink it.

I really want Green Bay to win this football game, because I want Plaxico Burress to go home. Unfortunately the Packers have been killing themselves on penalties.

As usual with me and exercise, I've talked myself out of riding my bike every day by saying that any day I don't walk at least a mile, I ride the bike. It seems that the home-Coolidge Corner via Washington Square-Harvard & Comm Ave loop is 2.3 miles, so I got out of it honestly today.

And so goes Sunday.

If you want to go to the Super 88, I am going late tomorrow morning. I can take you -- it's damn cold out!
