a fairly soggy Sunday

I'm getting a little tired of getting rained on because I've got both hands full and no spare hands for an umbrella. (Happened at work last week bringing a box of copies back to the office, and happened just now coming home with groceries.)

However, now that I'm home, I can get going on the domestic stuff I didn't do yesterday, to wit:

Make lunch for the week
Make chicken/ricotta/tomato/pancetta calzone
Clean the kitchen
Vacuum
Laundry
Taxes

And necessary stuff like that.

Yesterday proved that my self-enforced hermitage is over. I went out and was social and enjoyed it. Finally!

I was glad that you made it over and I'm even more glad to hear that you enjoyed it. That number of people and level of activity was about my speed for social gatherings right now. It was really just about right (though I do think we need to put an easily washable rug in the dining room for these parties to suck up the sound a bit more because it can get very loud in there. Luckily, last time I checked, Urban Outfitters was selling large washable rag rugs for about $50 for an 8x11 rug. Think I'll take a walk at lunch today and check them out.)
