It's a shame that 36-count linen doesn't seem to come in interesting colors, because I really want to try this on something dark (and not in two colors of red). I suppose I could scale it up to 32-count instead, since 32-count linen comes in better colors. (ooh, what if I reversed it and did it in white and something on red?)

I really hope the SOP meeting ends expediently tonight, because if it does, maybe I can go get a haircut. My hair is at the "no longer the style that's growing out and not yet any other sort of style" stage, and it looks like there's an octopus stuck to the back of my head.

Eventually I should make a list of stuff I want to do while I'm not at work for a week. I should invest in a roll of butcher paper and paper over one side of the hallway at home so I can write things down as I think of them. (Now where do you get rolls of butcher paper these days?)

Go to somewhere like a dollar store and buy a roll of cheap wrapping paper then write on it with sharpie or write on the non-colored side?
