I think my head is going to implode.

My workload has just increased exponentially again, and there's no real end to that in sight although I've been promised one before summer.

Four more weeks until vacation, and I could really use a personal day before that, but there ain't no way I can get that to happen without an actual medical reason. On top of having to get at least three different people to approve it, there's WAY too much of a list of things that have to get done ASAP, and I'm the best person on the promotions side of the office for getting big things done quickly. (Which is how I ended up sending out materials this afternoon for a committee about which I knew absolutely nothing. They had to go out today, and they went.)

Right about now is when I wish I didn't have to do all the cooking and dishwashing and purchasing of beer myself.

Can I offer to make you dinner, including beer and dishwashing, for just one evening next week? It really sounds like you need a break and have for a long time. If doing this could make your life just a little bit better, I would really be happy to do so. I hate to see someone I care about this stressed out.

Assuming I'm not actually getting sick (I'm debating that point today and having chicken soup and ginger ale for lunch), I'd take you up on that.

I have a PC with Windows 2000 installed if you're still interested. It's ready to go, just needs a monitor.

Still interested, but not set up to receive it just yet. Gotta get a monitor from somewhere.
