A pipe burst on the other end of the fourth floor this past weekend. The Registrar and the Financial Aid office and some of the Financial Services offices got rained on, and all the conference rooms we could possibly have used for committee meetings have been conscripted by the people who have papers and/or offices that need drying out.
Fortunately, last week I had a stroke of genius and asked if there was a reason we couldn't have meetings in J's office while she's out. There wasn't. We have a temporary conference room. I do believe I win.
