May. 30th, 2003 10:09 amAnother week, almost over.
Life goes on. Bills arrive in the mail, I throw money at them, they go back out again, I get poorer. I go to work, money appears in the bank, I get richer until the bills go out again.
It rains. It threatens to rain. It doesn't rain. It downpours. The weather gets warmer. It rains. The weather cools off again. The sun doesn't show up for a week.
Laundry happens. The trash can fills up. The litterbox gets changed. The fridge gets emptier.
The cats get bigger.
The mail contains nothing but bills, junk and supermarket circulars.
So passeth my life.

Reminds me of a song.
Date: 2003-05-30 10:32 am (UTC)To everything (turn, turn, turn)
There is a season (turn, turn, turn)
And a time for every purpose under heaven.
A time to be born, a time to die
A time to plant, a time to reap
A time to kill, a time to heal
A time to laugh, a time to weep.
A time to build up, a time to break down
A time to dance, a time to mourn
A time to cast away stones
A time to gather stones together.
A time of war, a time of peace
A time of love, a time of hate
A time you may embrace
A time to refrain from embracing.
A time to gain, a time to lose
A time to rend, a time to sew
A time of love, a time of hate
A time of peace. . .I swear it's not too late.
These lyrics are just about all from the book of Ecclesiastes, chapter 3 verses 1-8 (look it up at bibles.net!).
