not tendonitis

Hauled my carcass out of bed this morning and took my sore shoulder off to the doctor. Her opinion is that it sounds like a ruptured tendon, but doesn't act like one, so now I have to go see an orthopedist in three weeks (first appointment I could get). Part of me hopes whatever's wrong will heal by then, and part of me wants it not to so I can go find out exactly what the hell is wrong, anyway.

well at least the doc is taking you seriously and not being dismissive. For now, take it easy on that shoulder. Tendon problems take weeks/months to heal so you really shouldn't push it.
