Most of any given meeting materials packet consists of JPEGs converted from PDFs. In the case of recommendation letters, I have to label the first page of the letter with the writer's last name, and I do this in a text box in the top righthand corner of the page.

So can anybody tell me why my text boxes keep disappearing from where they've been put, only to reappear two pages later? If I put the original text box on page 17, it vanishes from page 17 when I insert a JPEG on page 18, and then appears where it bloody well pleases on page 19 when I insert a JPEG there. If I don't have a JPEG on page 19, the text box never reappears and I have to go back to page 17 and insert a new one.

This is getting frustrating. Anybody got any suggestions?
