better late than never
Jun. 5th, 2003 10:26 amI decided to get on the "100 days" bandwagon and do situps and pushups for 100 days, starting this past Tuesday. As a result, my abs hurt, but that probably means that they needed the exercise and I'm doing at least part of it right.
It looks like we're in for a cold, wet summer. Dammit. I should not still be using my enormous flannel comforter in June.
Yesterday I had a minor major cleaning fit. I got home, changed the litterbox, did the dishes, took a shower and cut my bangs. I have eyebrows again! I think I even did a decent job of it this time, although my bangs were so crooked before that practically anything is an improvement. I also ordered new contact lenses, which hopefully will take care of the problem I'm having with my left eye. When I get tired, my left eye gets blurry, which drives me crazy. That generally means the pair of lenses I'm using is too old.
I want to know why the kitty litter that seems to work best is, of course, the Really Expensive kind I can only get at the pet store. It doesn't seem to be a case of "same stuff, different package, higher price", like a lot of things are. Maybe the stuff at the grocery store would work fine if we didn't have three cats? I don't know.
I ended up attaching my stapler to my desk with one of those pen chains they have in banks, because I was sick of retrieving it from all over everywhere when I needed it. Now my tape dispenser has gone. I need to get a new one and come up with a way to attach that to the desk and yet still be able to move it.
The Friday I ordered on Tuesday has been backordered and won't arrive until tomorrow. Somebody really should do something about this delivery service.
[Edit: In a Triumph (ha ha) of Modern (snort) Engineering, I invented a pen-chain-and-paper-clip method of keeping my tape dispenser around. Having accomplished that, I now have no motivation to do anything useful for the rest of the day.
