Am I the only one who isn't having a rather severe case of Monday? My day so far has been downright pleasant. So much so that I'm considering braving the mall after work, because the second of my two old pairs of jeans is giving up its inseams in a rather dramatic fashion.

On a semi-related note, there's got to be something I can use the rest of that pair of jeans for. The fabric everywhere but the inseams is still perfectly fine.

The Kennebunkport Brewing Company should've called their darker beer Kennebunkporter. But they didn't, so I didn't buy any yesterday.

Not particularly having a case of the Mondays myself either. If anything, the world is looking up a bit compared to the past weekend! I think all my Monday coffeeweasels decided to join forces with the gods of construction project perversity this past weekend instead..... You probably didn't see my construction zone posts about failing 4, yes 4, attempts to put up a new light fixture. Your dad would be laughing his ass off at me if he read those posts.

Wanna get together kid-free some evening this week? I could really use an evening off...

Yeah, I had a Monday... a brand new multifunction copier/printer/fax was supposed to be delivered, installed, and configured at a client site at 9:30 this morning.

It didn't show up 'til 2:30, and the gents unloaded it and took off. According to the office who sold the client this piece of gear, the tech will call sometime in the eight business hours following delivery to schedule installation.

So, 9:30 this morning becomes 2:30 this afternoon becomes 2:30 tomorrow afternoon.

And on a second note, the A/C in my server room failed last night around 8:30, and the room got to a piping 100 degrees before I made it there to open the door, wheel in the portable, and start getting it cooled back off.

The tech came out this morning, fixed "something", and left; an hour later, it failed again. ::Sighs:: Of course, he couldn't make it back to our office again, so the nominally secure server room has its door standing wide open for air circulation. Thankfully, it's inside a keycard-only access office, but still...
