I came home tonight and discovered that Snip had swallowed an embroidery needle. She's at the emergency vet having $2500 surgery.

I have had it with Monday.

As near as I can figure, she swallowed the thread (and needle) still attached to my current embroidery, and when she spat out the thread, the needle unthreaded.

If that isn't how she did it, I don't want to know how she did. I've never had a cat who would swallow thread in the first place, so it never occurred to me that she'd do it.
