Snip came through the surgery just fine. The needle got most of the way down the small intestine, but didn't go through it (I think that's what they said, anyway; they called at 12:45, by which time I was almost coherent). I don't know yet whether she gets to come home tonight or tomorrow.

I had to be at work early today to obtain and set up food for a 9:00 meeting, and I'm supposed to be mailing out SOP packets today or tomorrow.

I'm only going to get through today by dint of ruthless caffeination.

I'm glad Snip made it through okay.

Have you considered pet insurance? It may help in the future, and it's pretty cheap. I have it for Enkidu.

I did consider pet insurance, but right now I'm in about three minds on the subject of finances in general. (Besides which, given the levels of caffeine and adrenalin sloshing around in my blood right now, I'm in no shape to think about anything seriously.)
