I came home tonight and discovered that something (or more likely somebody, namely Snip) had happened to Lily's right eye, which she was extremely disinclined to open and which was running copiously. Fortunately it stopped that pretty quickly, and her face is dry and her eye is open now and seems fine. I figured when she let me mess around with that side of her head that it wasn't a screaming emergency, but I Do Not Need any more feline-related heart attacks for the rest of the month. And getting out of Dodge for a couple of days seems like an excellent idea, so I'm glad that was the plan to begin with.

Ugh! No more cat-related issues, Hairy Beasts! (Why don't they read their instruction manuals?) I'm glad that Lily seems to be fine now. Have a wonderful (and relaxing) time out of Dodge this weekend (and see you on Sunday!).
