Oh, for fuck's sake...

My ex-boss who was my formerly-ex-boss is now my ex-boss again, for good this time. So I get a new boss after Christmas, again. That'll be the fifth iteration of direct report for me since last February, if anybody besides me is counting.

This is getting tiring.

Is there anyone you can talk to about this? It really is becoming rather ridiculous and they should be aware of the impact it's having on you as an employee. Perhaps whomever is the HR person or the higher-up responsible for hiring that position?

They actually did talk to me about it today, and they're going to ask for input from me at 30 and 60 days so I don't get blindsided (again) if we decide not to keep the new person after 90 days (again). At least somebody else has realized this isn't easy for me.
