further reflections on yesterday

I've decided that the whole boss-turnover situation is depressing me so much because it's like getting dumped, complete with "it's not you, it's me". So if I go with that analogy, I've been dumped three times in the last year, twice by the same person. That hurts, regardless of circumstances.

Good thing I'm single, or I'd probably have been dumped four times. I haven't been my favorite person lately either. As much as I might like to have somebody else to help hold me up, I don't think it would be much fun for the other person.

At least now I know what kind of depressed I am, so I can deal with it.

Complete change of subject: I love having a washing machine in my kitchen. That means that when I'm cooking curry and I get it on my shirt, I can strip off straight into the washing machine and get the screaming yellow stain out before it sets. It would be easier if I learned not to cook curry while wearing anything I care about, but I have yet to learn that.

Should I get (or make) an apron for you for your holiday present? If I make it I can even put sleeves on it to cover up the arms since I know that's where I get stains when I cook

I get stains where an apron would be useful, but I don't own one because I hate wearing them. (Not sure why that is, though.)
