The reason Lily is wedged in there like that is because there's a heat vent directly under her.

In my office, on the far side of my desk. If the desk leg were any closer to the wall, it would be sitting on the heat vent.

There's a reason I call her Lily Beast: it rhymes with Silly Beast.
