The "nope, ain't gettin' done this week, again" list:

- Take the comforter to the laundromat
- Get the passport renewed (go get new pictures taken)
- Make vet appointments for the Hairy Beasts, preferably together
- Finish rearranging the living room (get rid of the stereo)
- Join the Oak Square YMCA (go buy swimming goggles)
- Wash everything in any of the laundry receptacles
- Get the shredded skirt re-hemmed
- Wean myself back to one caffeinated beverage per day

Since I'm not going anywhere for my vacation week in two weeks, I might as well get around to all this stuff that's been bugging me. So this is now the vacation-week list.

You can borrow my sewing machine and or my sewing skills to fix your skirt if you'd like. I also think I've got a set of swimming goggles to pass on. I somehow ended up with two pair which I sure as hell don't need when I can't even manage to get to the gym these days. I can also let you use out washer for your larger comforter if you'd like. (Hrmmm sounds like you and me and an evening with the sewing machine, the washer and that muppets DVD, doesn't it?)

Also sounds like you need son-of-osbert for the trip to the vet!

The skirt needs two minutes with a serger. (It's the Oberlin skirt, which was a handkerchief hem before Snip chewed a strip off it, so now it's just a somewhat more uneven handkerchief hem with a raw edge.)

Son of Osbert is going to be a Zipcar. There are two of them in the parking lot right across the street from the vet's office, so if I get one, I can park it in its assigned space while the HBs are at the vet.

I have to be at work all day on the 13th, unfortunately; I'm taking the following week off. Lunch, or messing about after work, are possible, though.
