I done gone went and did it, and bought an iPod touch last night. There's a difference between fiscal responsibility and fiscal Puritanism, and damn it, why shouldn't I have fun if I can afford to? So I did.

(By the way, [livejournal.com profile] whuffle, if you can spare $1.99 and about 20 minutes, you can download the spontaneous marching band off iTunes. I did that last night too.)

Now I have to come up with a name for the new toy. I heard a really good one last week, but didn't write it down. All I remember is that it had something to do with spoons.

An evil enabler is I. Yup. *nods head happily*

I've been thinking about Highlander lately and considering sitting down to re-watch it. That would require adding it to the netflix cue though. Since I'm almost done rewatching one series right now, that might not be such a bad thing. However, I already have a season subscription on iTunes for leverage episodes, so I really shouldn't buy episodes of Highlander if I can just rent instead....

BTW, go get yourself a copy of the touch program called YELP. It lets you find anything you need. Need a place that sells sheets of plexiglass in medford? They can find that for you.
Epicurious also has a touch application that's lovely for storing and finding new recipes while in the kitchen. I can now pull up favorite recipes on my touch instead of using paper copies or dragging my laptop into the kitchen.
