Mistress of Lists
Jul. 7th, 2003 11:04 amOK, so I got into grad school, and I must now get myself and my possessions out to Ohio before August 25. I am therefore becoming the Mistress of Lists.
So far today, I have:
-Told my boss I'm leaving
-Told HR they need to replace me and asked them what I personally need to do about it
-Called the Registrar's office at Kent State and gotten sent to the internet to find out what I need to know
-Updated the office procedures manual
-Started making a very large list (on butcher paper) of work-related things not to forget
-Decided my official resignation date will be August 16
-Given up caffeine until further notice
I still need to actually get the registrar's web site to tell me how to register and what to register for (I think I have the paperwork for that at home), and I need to deal with financial aid and housing out there, and start packing here, and I'm sure there are fifteen or sixteen thousand things I haven't thought of yet...
eep.
