a milestone of sorts

dchenesMy hair is finally long enough to braid (when wet), and not look absolutely ridiculous. Thank goodness it's finally long enough to braid at all, because this is head-shaving weather. Despite that, I actually got stuff done yesterday.
- Take the comforter to the laundromat (not in 90-odd-degree weather, tyvm)
- Get the passport renewed (go get new pictures taken)
- Make vet appointments for the Hairy Beasts, preferably together (on hold pending renewal of pet insurance)
- Finish rearranging the living room (get rid of the stereo)
- Join the Oak Square YMCA (go buy swimming goggles)
- Wash everything in any of the laundry receptacles
- Get the shredded skirt re-hemmed
- Wean myself back to one caffeinated beverage per day (did that last week)
- Call the DPW about taking away the TV nobody wants
- Break down The Box and put it out with the recycling
I suppose the next order of business is to iron the shredded skirt so I can take it to a tailor by way of the post office and the Oak Square Y. But I ain't doin' any of that before 9:00, so the absolute next order of business is breakfast.
