Ouch.
The CAD meeting started at 4:00. It ended at 6:40. I took minutes, because that seems to be in my job description now. Most of the time, people were talking over each other, so I had to keep disentangling conversations in my head in order to write down the important bits. My shoulders hurt, and I'm seriously considering learning how real shorthand (as opposed to text-message shorthand, which is what the internet thinks I mean) goes.
However, the SOP meeting next week might be canceled for want of agenda items. Two of them died in the CAD meeting and a third died for want of a committee representative this month, and that leaves us with two, and that's not quite enough to convene 30 people for. I would not be sorry if that happened.
