My cold has slipped a notch, so I think I might be actually over it by the end of next week. Thank goodness, because I am (pardon the pun) completely sick of having a cold.

I need to figure out how to get to Wilson Farms and have my annual fall vegetable-buying extravaganza soon. I'd like to do it this weekend, except it's going to rain, and I also don't really want to plan anything for early October because late October is going to be crazy. Maybe I'll just settle for a very long bus trip to Penzey's and back, because I need spices too.

Oh, for heaven's sake, it's only two miles between Penzey's and Wilson Farms. If only it wasn't going to rain, I'd walk it.

Oh, the other option is that Hootie and I need to be out of the house all day Saturday so provided you don't mind the company of a small boy, we could do it then. In fact, in some ways, I'd prefer to do it then. Given Siercia's comment, maybe we should all three have brunch tomorrow then go to Penzeys and Wilsons together. Hootie REALLY liked brunch at the Watertown Diner the last time we went.

That sounds like a plan to me. The only other thing I MUST do this weekend is laundry, but that's flexible.
