Where did October go? I seem to have filled up most of the latter half of it, starting this coming weekend with an impromptu Deschenes family gathering. Next week is the October CAD meeting, and next weekend is the heavily-planned-for DiMartino family gathering. The week after that is the October SOP meeting. The week after the SOP meeting, I go to the ATA conference. And then it's November, and the clocks change, and it gets dark at 4:30.
My cold has devolved into a cough, and I only cough when I'm tired. I wouldn't mind if the cough wanted to go away too, but at least now I can breathe and I don't have a perpetual headache. Two days of sleep does sound awfully good, though.
Snip has apparently decided to be a lap cat. I don't know why, but I'll take it. And now I know that she does in fact purr; she just doesn't do it audibly unless she really wants to make a point. (Speaking of points, I have to figure out how to deal with her claws. I hate the noise of claws getting stuck in fabric.)
